Hello list. I'm sure there must be a lot of new people on the list so I'll
try this again. Maybe this time someone will be able to help.

My ancestor, Elizabeth SIMPSON (HAIGH-first marriage) BRADSHAW (2nd
marriage) came west with the Martin Handcart company, a widow with her 5
children. I haven't been able so far to find anyone who can get past the
brick wall of her grandparents. Hope you'll give it a try. Here's the
family, so far as I have it:

Elizabeth SIMPSON (born 10 February 1808 at Bolton, Lancs, England; Married
(1) William HAIGH, who died. Married (2) Richard BRADSHAW, who died as well.
Elizabeth's Parents: Thomas SIMPSON (born ca1776, of Bolton, Leics, England,
and Ann or Alice BRIGGS (born 14 August 1790 at Tarton, Lancs, England.
Their children were: Jonathan (1802), John (1803), Jane (1804-5), Elizabeth
(1808), Thomas (1810), and Nancy (1812).

Elizabeth's Maternal Grandparents: Thomas BRIGGS (born ca1760 of Tarton),
and Ann HASLAM (born ca1760 of Tarton). Their children were: Mary (1789),
Twins: Thomas (1790), Ann (1790), and William (1792).

I would love to have more information about these lines if someone can help.
