Have you seen the book entitled "Emigrating Journals of the Willie and
Martin Handcart Companies and The Hunt and Hodgett Wagon Trains" by Lynne
Slater Turner? It is a fairly complete list of persons who were on the
handcart companies and those who died and lived. I got mine at Deseret
Book and you could order it online at DeseretBook.com if you don't have a
store near you. It is composed of miscellaneous persons journals of the
trail and gives a very good description of the trek and also tells some
info about the ship that the families came on. Hope this is what you are
looking for. I will be VERY interested in the Monarch of the Sea
transcription.
