Terri,

I hate to impose on you again so soon, but I could not recall which mailing
list you are associated with, and I have another mystery I am trying to
pursue. This one concerns my paternal grandfather's ancestors, who also
arrived in Utah with the Mormons, but in this case from Wales. Here is what
I have:

MY GREAT-GREAT-GRANDFATHER:
Walter Jones, b. 2/3/1838, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales; d. 3/28/1919,
Monroe, Utah
FATHER: Daniel Jones, b. 9/1805, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales; d.
2/22/1834, [Merthyr]
(DANIEL'S FATHER:) William Jones (?), b. abt 1780, Wales
(DANIEL'S MOTHER:) Mary ? (?), b. abt 1780, Wales

MOTHER: Mary Jenkins, b. abt 1811, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales
MY GREAT-GREAT-GRANDMOTHER (Walter's wife) AND HER PARENTS:
Catharine Jones, b. 6/13/1843, Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales; d.
12/9/1904, Monroe, Utah
FATHER: John Jones, b. abt 1818, Gower, Glamorgan, Wales
MOTHER: Mary Evans, b. abt 1818, Swansea, Wales

I hope that this is not too confusing. Do you have any leads or information
for tracking down more information on these individuals? I have already
gotten some useful information through the Glamorgan mailing list but am now
eager for more. Once again, thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
Scott Erickson
