The Mormon Colonies are still there in northern Mexico, near El Paso. I
know several people here in Provo who were born and raised there and still
have relatives living there. Someone said there was talk about building
one of the small LDS temples there. I think there have been a couple of
books written on the history of the Mormon Colonies in Mexico.
