Hello everyone: I have just joined the list and I'am hoping to get so
help and tips. On how to find someone. I'm looking for my mother. Who
seperated from My father around 1955 She left me and my sister with our
father, And we never heard from her again. This is what I know about
her.
Rosa May Darling-Goodwin born March 9, 1916 in Madison Iowa and was
given up for adoption. She was adoped by George & Christina Darling.
They lived in Hastings, Adams Co. Nebraska at that time. But moved to
Harvard, Ne. Rosa went to school in Harvard and graduated from there.
The only thing the school had was a school census from 1930 and her
graduation picture.
She married Maynard Goodwin and they lived in Hastings and Republican
City, Nebraska. I have looked in both Co. and no marriage liences.I have
checked the surounding Co. and no marriage liences.
My father said she died in Idaho but that was all he would tell us. He
is now dead and there is no other living relatives. But her adopted
brother who says the last time he seen her or talked to her was in 1953.
I talked to the S.S. office and they say they can't help without a death
certifiacte. Which I don't have and don't know how to get seens I don't
know where she died.
Any help or tips would really be appricated. Thanks in advance.
