Cathy,

There are a couple of books out on finding your civil war ancestors which
would probably give you some tips on where to look next. Check your local
library. Also, you could try Cyndi's list for Civil War links or perhaps
medical records on the Internet.

If he moved to MO after the war, then he probably filed for his pension, etc.
through MO. Have you checked there?

One thing you should do when making copies from books is get the title,
author, publisher, date and where the book was found (library, etc.) among
other things in case you need to find the book again. I find myself getting in
a hurry and forgetting to write those things down. <g> Good luck!
