<< Hi Everyone,
I sure am hoping someone can shed some light on this for me! Here's the
deal,
i sent away to the Social Security Administration for a copy of my Father in
laws Dad's Social Security Application. It had two people listed as his
parents that are not his parents. We got a copy of his birth certificate and
it listed his mother as the woman that we know to be his mom. Are these
applications accurate? Would he had to show a Birth Certificate or any proof
of who he or his parents were when filling the form out? Has anyone had
experince with this type of thing happening. It caused a whole lot of
confusion for a few days and i still don't understand what is going on here.
Thanks, Fait >>

I have my grandfathers application for SS also. The mother he lists on there
is the 3rd name for his mother that I have run across. All different !! This
is
my Polish side. I don't know what gives? It sure makes it difficult. On his
marriage records from the church a completely different name is stated. I'd
be interested in the feedback from this question, also.
