Where and how would I begin to look in Texas for information about a
gggrandfather that lived in Kentucky and briefly went to Texas in the
1860-70's. Family history says he killed a man in Texas and that
afterwards he changed his name. It is this former name that I am trying
to research. Thanks for any help, Carolyn
