Anyone who has ever had a problem with utilities really needs to be
aware that as soon as you install something like First Aid it changes
the registry on your computer for good. By the time you find out, it's
complicated to do the diagnostics to fix the computer.
I believe that Cybermedia's new Uninstaller is rated # 1 by several PC
magazines, but I have not tried it.
I made the mistake of using Quarterdeck Cleansweep Deluxe on my computer
and haven't been able to install anything since I did it.
Also wanted to say not to use two virus scanners at the same time. That
corrupts your files.
The best book a person can own who uses Windows95 is called, "Microsoft
Windows95 Resource Kit." With the book, you can fix almost anything on
your computer.
Regards,
Casey
P.S. Best thing is *always* read the manual before you install any kind
of a utility on your computer.
