It is not at all unusual to be charged $10 for a copy of a vital record
like this.  I was just browsing through Tom Kemp's book, "Internaltion
Vital Records Handbook" the other night and noted that such records run
from $5 (VERY few of them) to $20 each, and they are usually certified
copies.
