Kay,

I don't remember if you have FTM 4.0 or not.  If you do, checking your
surnames against the FamilyFinder Index is easy. 

Put the FamilyFinder Index Vol. 1 or 2 in your CDRom Drive.  Click on
*View* then on *FamilyFinder Report*.  FTM will automatically search your
surnames and match them with the names in the index.  You might also want
to click on *Contents* then on *# of Results to Show*.  Make sure the box
that says *Show 4 and 5 Star Matches* is checked.  Your list of matches
will tell you what WFT or other CD might contain info on your ancestor.
The 5 star ones are your most likely matches.  Good luck!

P.S.  If you don't have FTM 4.0, you'll have to search each WFT CD
individually; or go to FTM's site and use the FamilyFinder Index there to
search by surname.  This would give you a better idea of which WFT CDs to
begin with.
