Subject: [GenTips-L] Photo CD's vs. scanners

I am getting ready to take on the tremendous project this year of copying many
of the photos of my family. Is there any quality difference between using a
Photo CD or using a scanner? Since I am new to this I would like to get
started on the right foot. I plan on placing the photos in my family tree
maker program, unless there is another program which would be better to place
these at. Thanks for all and any input.
