To all,
I received a message from the Techmail Dept. of AOL this morning, believe it
or not.
It was in answer to my complaint about poor service for several days.
This is part of it:
"We are in the process of upgrading our email system in many areas. These
upgrades have affected the email system for approximately 7% of our members.
We apologize for the inconvenience. While we are working on this problem
we
suggest that you send email from a different screen name."
Well, it appears to be a little more than 7% (unless I only hear from those
7%) and it seems to be more than Aol; everyone seems to be having
difficulties.
As for me, I think I'll go incognito and join my computer (as aol is always
saying) in 'performing covert operations'. (Hmm...wonder if they'll
disconnect me.)

Don't forget....according to the latest numbers, AOL has approximately
8,000,000 members.....for 7% of their member's email to be affected, then we
are talking about 560,000 members mail. Mind boggling isn't it?
