I need some help and suggestions on how to compile all of my genealogy records, family heirloom photos and records to a "book" form. My Mother and I have worked for about 5 years researching our Henderson side of the family and have accumulated quite a bit of information. She has lots of old family photos and records. We use the Family Origins program and I also have FamilyTree Maker software as well, but we are not satisfied with the "book reports" that these programs generate.
We need some advise on what most researchers do when they reach the point where they want to generate, compile their work, photos and records in a family book form. Is there a particular program that most folks use when doing this?

Would appreciate any advise or suggestions on what has worked well for others.
