Hi Everybody,

I am needing some help. My husband's Aunt is dying of cancer and she is
trying to get things taken care of before she passes away. Back in 1953
her father passed away and she wants one of the songs that was sung at his
funeral to be sung at hers. The only problem is that none of the family
can remember what the name of the song is. One song that was sung at his
funeral was Old Rugged Cross, but they can't remember the other. I have
the funeral records for her father, but in 1953 they did not put the
details of the funeral into the records. Can anybody out there give me
some suggestions where I might be able to find out this information? Maybe
if I could find out the more popular hymnals in 1953 it would ring a bell
with someone in the family and we could have this song at her funeral. She
only found out a month ago that she was sick, but she is very sick and we
don't have much time. Could someone please help me. Thanks
