Pat,

Gen-Chat is for anyone interested in Genealogy. Sometimes we find
the history of a place and put it here for everyone, sometimes it
is the obits, marriages, births, found in a newspaper, or in
church records. If it concerns genealogy we put it on here. A lot
of times it is just what we have run across in our search for our
ancestors, and does not pertain to us at all, but it does pertain
to someone some where, so we put it on for anyone that wants it.
Sometimes it becomes a lot of work, but we all appreciate any and
every one that does it.

Hope this answers your question.
Remember to always put the names of the people you are searching
for, we, the people out here, are not mind readers, and names and
dates do help us to help you.
