Hi Kathy,

I felt the same way you do. I am one of thoes people that can't wait to
get things out of boxes and start using them. But with the scanner it
stayed in the box a good two weeks. When I took it out and hooked it up
it started working and not stopped yet. What kind of scanner do you
have? I'll give you all the help I can from this end. Claudia
