Hello,

when I began to write my family's history my then 97 year old mother asked me
not to write anything about anyone that I would not want written about me.
With this in mind I walked a tight rope of propriety without sacrificing any
pertinet information. I found that the more positively I thought the easier
it was to write positively about others. There are times when we do not
forsake honesty but we buffer that honesty
with kindness. Many times it is not not so muich what we say but the way
that we say it. that is why I chose to write my family's story utilizing the
narrative which gave me a more creative approach than names on a pedigree
chart. I do hope this helps
