Hi guys,

Sorry for the delay on the update. I now know who our little pranster was
who sent out awful letters posing as the listowner. They have been removed
from this list and I have also contacted their ISP. Their ISP assures me
that the account will be closed.

As for the list, it is currently running as a closed one. All messages are
being viewed by me before they are posted to the list. There are a few that
were not posted due to content. They were only flaming the fire. Again,
please do not send anything to this list that you would not say to
someone's face. (And then, please think about it!) We really are here to do
research and NOT to fight with each other.

If you have a complaint with someone, privately email them. I certainly am
not enjoying the extra work screening messages but I can not in good faith
restore the list to it's previous system until the hate mail stops. If you
are not happy with this list, and feel that it isn't contributing anything
to your research, please leave instead of making the rest of us suffer!
