A few weeks ago a friend subscribed my name to GenChat. I knew nothing
about it until I retrieved 102 messages from my e-mail. I thought my
computer had really lost it's chips. I really gave my friend a bad time
about this until I took the time to read the mail and then I was hooked. I
was forever running to the computer to check my mail.
At the same time the news came over the news on television about Princess
Di's tragic accident I clicked the wrong field shutting this computer down
and lost the connection to the internet.
That has been over 48 hours ago and I am finally reconnected but the
family thought I was going to have heart failure before I was back on-line
to see what was happening on GenChat.
Now, I'm somewhat timid about entering in on the chat especially when I
sent an e-mail and spelled begat-begot (which I did intentionally) and seen
it corrected by a couple of other chatters but I laughed about it and went
right on enjoying the reading.
I want to thank all of you for sharing your knowledge and information.
Thank you Chas for taking the time to answer my requests.
I'm glad to be back
