Hi all

I have just been given a huge bag and album of photo's, some have inscriptions on the back and some don't. They are mostly ( I think ) of the Stephens family in and around Numurkah from 1880 onwards.

Also there are photo's of men in army uniform dated between Feb. 1927 & Jan 1928 at Seymour camp, stating it is A Company 59th Battalion.
I will pass the above info on to Military site as someone might like a copy.

Maud Catherine Edgell nee Stephens is my direct line, although there are a few photo's of her and her husband Alfred George Edgell -
there are a lot of her brothers - she had 6
George Nathaniel b 1882?
James 1884?
Joseph jnr 1886?
Maud 1888
William George 1891?
and maybe Clarence Robert b 1899 or he could be a son of George or Joseph jnr
John Thomas b 1889 & d 1890

If anyone has a link to my Stephens family and would like copies of various photo's, just let me know and I will scan them & email.

I was also wondering if SKS would mind doing a look up for me on her brothers and who they married, children etc - so I can put a face to a name. For instance there is a picture of a baby named Lyall and I haven't even found him yet, he could possibly be a son of one of her brothers.
