Hi Fi,

Someone else I know has been trying to find out the builder of a
different church, and I suggested to him, in the absence of any other
information, that it might be helpful to look in the newspapers (either
local or Melbourne) for an account of the laying of the foundation
stone, as the article might mention the architect. Again, when they were
calling for tenders for the building of the church, the architect may
have been mentioned. I don't know if this is likely to work, but if all
else fails, I thought it worth a try.
