The VICTORIAN ASSOCIATION OF FAMILY HISTORY ORGANISATIONS is pleased

MICHAEL GANDY,the noted English genealogical expert , is delivering
the Fifth Don Grant lecture in
the Village Roadshow Theatrette on Sunday 6 May at 2pm.Entry is in
Latrobe street.Admission is free.
His topic-IT GET'S EASIER EVERY DAY.
We are thrilled to have Michael in Melbourne.
He delivered the Keynote address at the Fourth Victorian Family
History State Conference last
weekend.
THIS IS A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO HEAR AN EXPERT .

TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AT THE WEEKEND.

As part of the Centenary of Federation celebrations there will be
major street parade down Swanston Street on Sunday 6 May
between 11am and 1.30pm.The adjacent roads will be closed from 10am on
SATURDAY 5th May to c12.30on Sunday 6th May.
In addition to the road closures there will be no 'on street
parking'along swanston Street and St Kilda Road from Gratton Street
to Park Street from midnight Sat 5th to 2pm Sunday 6th.

Swanston Street trams will cease at 10am and recommence about 3pm on
Sunday.
Latrobe Street trams will recommence about 12.45 pm.

So please check your travel plans and make allowances for the
disruptions to normal services.

Please be on the library side of Swanston Street before the parade
begins as no one will be able/allowed to cross until the
parade ends.Please be seated by 1.50pm.We will need to commence the lecture
at 2pm.
