Hello everyone,

Just a reminder about our next meeting to be held at 2 pm this Saturday 8 July at St Andrew's Uniting Church Parish Hall, 253a Burke Road, Glen Iris (corner Malvern Road and 5 minutes walk from Gardiner Station - on the Glen Waverley line).

Marten Syme, noted historian and author of Shipping Arrivals and Departures Victorian Ports 1798-1845 and 1846 - 1855, will be the guest speaker, his topic being early records relating to passengers and settlers in the Portland Bay District in the 1830's to 1850's.

Afternoon tea will be served at the conclusion.

As well as members, visitors are most welcome to attend.
