Wychitella is now a very small hamlet, about 85km north/west of Bendigo, about centre of the triangle of Wedderburn - Charlton - Boort. Population now of about 25. In Loddon Shire.

Possible James and Elizabeth Robertson children marriages in Victoria (to 1888, unproven): Elizabeth m. John Henry Watt, 1875/4557 Sandhurst: child: James Alfred, b.1878/4825 Rochester or Rochford; Margaret m. Samuel McPherson 1887/1123 Sandhurst: child: Samuel 1881/7820 Wychtella; Walter m. Mary Jane Gibson Hallas 1888/8601 Sandhurst. Mary Jane was the daughter of Nathan Hallas and Jane Gibson, b.Sandhurst 1864/17884. If the same linked Robertson family this would indicate that they were living at Sandhurst from at least 1875, having been at Sebastopol in 1870. Sandhurst is near Bendigo [a suburb?], and Wychtella not found in current maps
