Coincidentally somebody else also had the idea of doing
an Index to Convicts 1788-1842 and has gone and
produced it on CD which will be released on May 5th

It makes me sad to see that two different peoples have
been beavering away on the same thing.

Shows the need for the AFFHO to step in and act as
a central reposity for info about who is indexing what.

Yes, I know that there is a quasi-commercial site doing
thiis, but I think the official Australasian body should do it.
