My g-grandfather Peter Cheuces, born (supposedly) in Kalamata, Greece 10
November 1890, came to the US sometime when he was 17 (around 1907). I am
looking for birth records or any family information.

Original spelling of his name was either TSOUSSIS or TSOUSIS. He also
supposedly came to the US with a cousin Andrew, and later, Andrew's cousin,
James came over.

Death certificate (28 May 1970 - Saugerties, NY) states that his parents
names were George and Caroline, but did not list maiden names or Greek
spellings, only Americanized versions.

Peter worked as a Chef in NYC for "Sweets" on Fulton street for many years.

Any help finding original birth or family records would be absolutely
incredible!
