Hello,

WW1 and WW2 was covered at our school..and now that I'm into genealogy and researching both my and my husbands families, I have found that from our Grandparents [ 4 ] Two served and from our G/Grandparents [ 8 ] 5 served.
Here in Western Australia we have only just had our 175th State Birthday..Most Aussie's at most only go back three or four generations.
My husband is first generation Australian from both sides and I'm third on mine.
