Hi Steve
The straight answer is no I am not sure. This part of my tree is a becoming
a nightmare, as most of the facts I have been given have turned-out to be
myths.
Did your search include the Royal Fusiliers? As the medal record indicated
that my great grandfather served in them. (I can send a PDF of the file, if
it would help?)
I will re-check the Commonwealth graves site, as I seem remember that I
found several William and Thomas Cottams.
Either way, thanks for all your help so far.
Chris
