Roberta --

Keith George's monumental 799 page book is a compendium of information on the descendants of four separate GEORGE immigrants who came from England to Massachusetts and New Hampshire in the 17th and 18th centuries. Alas, there are no Pennsylvania George lines from Germany included. I understand your frustration -- I have a Mueller/Miller line which came from Germany to Pennsylvania, and that brick wall is tall and broad!

Hi,

I note with interest your reference to a book on George Genealogy in your reply to Audrey at the George website. I have had a brickwall with my 2nd greatgrandfather Martin George b. 3-31-1803 in PA d. 12-18-1871 in Bucks Co., PA. He was married twice, first to Susannah Bechtel and second to Maria Heil, from whom I am descended. Does this book perhaps contain his name? I have been searching for his parents for years. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I was born and raised to NH and there were a lot of George families in NE. They, however, were of English origin whereas my PA roots were of German ancestry.

Thanks in advance for your time and trouble.

Best wishes,
Roberta
