I have been following this thread with interest.

I am looking for information on the ancestors of Lucinda George who married
Daniel Bump August 1829 in probably Essex Co., NY.

Lucinda and Daniel had a daughter they named Philinda. Daniel Bump was born
in 1806 in Brattleboro, Windham County, Vermont. Lucinda George was born in
New York in 1812, according to census records.

I don't think Philinda is a very common name and I was wondering if there
might be a connection? I would love to find the ancestors of Lucinda
George.

I need to make a correction, since we descend from Philinda GEORGE, who
died in Detroit. (Married Samuel Sherburne)

Philinda is the dau of Moses George who married Jerusha Harlow in 1800 in
Vermont. This is accordinig to GEORGE GENEALOGY.
