Hello,

I'm Deborah Kilgore from Zephyr, TX........ My 3rd-great grandfather was
Enoch Benjamin George(1790-1861).... his eldest daughter was Rebecah George,
born 09-08-1821, possibly in Alabama. (spelling of Rebecah may be off)
Do you have any date info for you Rebecah?

Enoch, along with his children, married and unmarried, were in Alabama until
around 1850, when they moved to Florida and then on to Texas around 1853 or
before.

Of Enoch's 10 known children, Rebecah and Rachal (born 06-24-1829) are the
only 2 we've not been able to trace. There is no record of them with the
move to Florida or Texas (per census info)...
It may seem far-fetched, with your Rebecah in No Carolina, but so far, after all
these years, yours is the only Rebecah I've seen surface. With yours marrying
in 1840, the age could certainly be right.

Keep me in your files.....I'll do the same with your info.....I've had less-likely
finds turn out to be matches before!

God's Peace,
Deborah
