My sister bought a picture from the antique dealer near Kerrville, TX. It was a charcol about 11X17 of a man with facial whiskers. The dealer said it came from the Coryell, Bell, Bosque Co area in TX. (Ft. Hood area). It was signed by Mattie George in 1904. I looked in the CSA pension records and found a Mrs. Mattie George of Bell Co. I assume that one of the gentlemen who drew the pension first was her deceased husband.

I know there were at least 2 George families in Bosque and another in Bell. There are probably more. Will be willing to send to any descendant for cost and shipping. My sister said that there was another picture, but I don't remember of whom.
