Hello, I have hit a brick wall. I cannot get past my great grandfather. His
death cert states he was born abt Juoy 1, 1869 in Richmond, VA. I cannot
get birth cert because they don't have records, too old. I can only find him
on one census the 1920 in PA. with his wife Alice Berry, and his children.
I know at one time, before 1920 they lived in MD allegany cnty, but cannot
find any info there either. 1920 census states his parents both born in
Virginia. Maybe Perry (his middle name) possibly his mothers maiden name.
Does anyone have a James P. George born abt 1869 in their family. If so
please contact me. Looking for his parents, siblings. He moved with his
family in 1925 to CA. He died there Dec 9, 1941. Thanks, Donna
