Looking for information on JOSEPH GEORGE who was born in Meddybemps,
Maine about 1800 -1820.
He married SUSAN HAMILTON, also born in Meddybemps. Joseph was a
surveyor and probably moved
around where the job took him. but is listed in the 1830 census as
living in Baileyville, Washington County
in 1840 living in Baring, Washington County, Maine. His son DANIEL
GEORGE, was born in Meddybemps, around Mar
4, 1844. After that date there is no record of Joseph.
