I found these two items: this could be his father

Name: Robert Eugene Taylor
Service Info.: SN US NAVY KOREA

Cemetery: Lakewood Memorial Park
Cemetery Address: 900 Santa Fe Hughson, CA 95326

and this looks like it is David's birth information:
