Looking for obit, land, wills, any kind of notices for Joseph ANDERT and Celia ANDERT. They were both Russian Jewish and spoke Yiddish. Yes I am looking on the Jewish Gen also.
Joseph - b. @Feb, 1888 possibly in Novgorod, Russia--d.September 13, 1924. Emigrated to NY, NY (Manhattan) in 1895 with wife Celia. Died in Eastford, CT (Windham County) I have newspaper clipping saying he had Typhoid Fever - paper dated the day before he died (The Hartford Courant - CT)I have a picture of his headstone but cannot find WHERE he is buried.

Celia ANDERT (Altschuler)-b.April 29, 1878 - emigrated to NY, NY (Manhattan) with Joseph @ 1895. Possibly born in Novgorod, Russia also. d. December 11, 1961 in Eastford, CT (Windham County)

I believe Celia had a sister living in NY. No name supplied by newspaper clipping.

In 1930 Census - Celia is head of household and widow living in Eastford, CT (Windham County)

They had 3 children - Sarah, Irving and Solomon (Irving is the only one living now)

I know nothing else about Joseph and Celia.

I was married to Sarah's son, David, and he too has passed away.

I cannot locate Joseph's burial site anywhere that I have tried. I will try to attach the picture and hope it comes to you.
