I can't tell you how excited I was to hear from you and to see the pictures of the tombstones. The pictures were very good. I do have some other questions. I'm aware of the 1880 census of the misspelled last name. I'm trying to find out,
on that census if this William is the one I'm searching for.
If this is the William Hitchings I'm looking for, he is the brother of David b.1834, Margaret b.1836 born in Wales and my GGGrandfather, Jason b.1844 in PA. My Grandfather was Evan b.1876 and my father was Jason b.1902. One other question is, who is the Margaret Hitchings b.1814 in Wales, in the 1880 census. Is this William also the father of Christopher and Griffith? I hope I haven't overwhelmed you with these questions, but you are the first person I have had any contact with that had much info on the Hitchings. Thank you.
