Subject: [GENEALOGY-LOOKUP] Surnames and some brickwalls

*Mingle, George. George was born in Rock Falls, Illinois about 1884. His
parents were stranton Mingle and Cora Emmons Mingle. He had two sisters;
Effie Mingle Wymer and Nell Mingle Anderson. According to clippings I
have he has lived in Rosewell New Mexico, San Antonio Texas and in
Nebraska. I think he might have worked with International Harvester. I'd
love to find out if George had a family, and when and where he died.

*Asa F. R. Emmons. Asa was born in Kingston, Canada in 1815. According
to his obituary he lived in Connecticut, Pennsylvania and New York City.
In 1835 he married Elizabeth Bartlett in Pennsylvania. They moved to IL
in 1839 and settled in Sterling and then in the township of Coloma.
Elizabeth died in 1842 and he rmarried Nancy Booth in 1843. The children
born to Asa and Nancy were named; Nancy Cora, Ida, and William.Asa died
December 27, 1902 in Rock Falls, IL. I'd like to find the names of Asa's
parents.

*Weimer, Peter. Peter was born about 1820 in Freeburg, Stark, OH. He
married Sarah Strickler and Ruth Jackson. His children's names were;
Edward, George, Elizabeth, Lineus, Hiram, and Peter (on the census
record their last name was spelled Wymer). Peter died August 29, 1897 at
Rising Sun, Wood, OH. I suspect Adam and Elizabeth (don't know her last
name) are his parents but would like conformation.)

Surnames I'm researching are; Chandler, Wymer/Weimer, Booth, Mingle,
Emmons, Freed, Jensen,
Hall, Hanks, Booth, Lembke, and Miller.
