Hi Cathy i'm not sure if this is the one you are after but I found Neils Peter Andersen born in Mackay Qld, his mother was Danish and dad Norweigen they didnt have names he had a sister Nora Elizabeth Wintin she lived at the Sugar Experimental Station in Mackay,He spent 41/2 years in the 27th light horse in Mackay.Signed up for army on 1/4/1916at age 23 yrs 1 month he was 5 feet 61/2 inches tall,weighed 154lbs Fair complection blue grey eyes and sandy coloured hair he worked as a farm labourer.His unit was 15th private 26th batalion service no 5534 and he was church of england I hope this is a bit of help.
