Does anyone on the list have access to the " North Carolina Revolutionary Army Accounty" Soldiers residing in TN. Washington and Sullivan County, TN.
Francis Daniel is listed in the index, and I was told to find the information on him it would be in the archives at Raleigh North Carolina where FRANCIS DANIEL and William Daniel are listed.

Francis Daniel was listed Volume I, page 15, folio 2 and records
for William DANIEL are in Volume I, page 38, folio

A previous lookup found a will for William Daniel which I enclosed. I am trying to find out where in North Carolina did these soldiers enlists and who were there parents. Also where and who they served under. I will gladly pay for the cost of copies and postage? Thanks Vickie

The entry for William Daniel is as follows:
Volume I, page 52
WILL of William Daniel written May 23, 1794
Heirs: wife Ann; two sons John and William, 5 daughters Mary, Ann, Phebe,
Jemima, and Alice.
Ex: Friend Joseph Crouch
Teste: David Job and Philemon Lacy
Probated August Session 1800

The chapter I think you were interested in is titled: "North Carolina
Revolutionary Army Accounts, Index to Soldiers Residing in Washington and
Sullivan Counties, 1781-1783"

So you see it only lists soldiers for a 3 year period and only in 2
counties.

These records are located in the State Archives at Raleigh, NC. The book
give no indication of just what information is contained in these men's
files.

So records for FRANCIS DANIEL are in Volume I, page 15, folio 2 and records
for WILL DANIEL are in Volume I, page 38, folio
