I also have the following resources I can do look ups from:
the "Amethyst", which is the High School Yearbook for Deering High School
in Portalnd, ME. Years of 1947 & 48. Please keep in mind only senior class
memebers are actually named. There are several group photos which are labeled
as a group (i.e. "Staff") with no individuals named. Please put "Deering High
School, ME look up" in the subject line.
Also, I would be more than happy to take pictures at Grand Lawn Cemetery
in Detroit, Michigan (Wayne County). No charge, but I do ask for a bit of
patience as I have two kids, three part time jobs and a semi invalid mother
in law. There's a husband, too, just doesn't need as much maintenance as the
rest!! Grand Lawn is about six minutes away from me. I believe Grand Lawn
files their interments by surname, so I need to know at least that much. They
also do not have any other good stuff, i.e. burial permits, etc., just the
card with the name of the person and where they are buried. Please put "Grand
lawn Cemetery" in the subject line.
