I sent my book off to the printers last night, all 472 pages of it, and it
is too late to change it, or at least I am not going to change it, but I am
still bothered by this.
Mark Jobling has found two persons named Jefferson in England who match
Thomas Jefferson 17/17.
However, 7% of Somalia is K2 with a close DNA match to Jefferson. I think
the reason we did not know about this earlier is that not many people in
Somalia have been DNA tested. Also, there are many near matches with
Jefferson in Egypt.
I feel that the probabilities are greater that the two British Jeffersons
who are a match to Thomas Jefferson also came from Egypt or Somalia in
their ancestry, rather than existing in Europe as a tiny insignificant part
of the population for many generations.
What does anybody else think?
