That's an ingenious suggestion, but it may not work. A very similar
situation arose -- by accident -- in one of my projects, where the
testee and his nephew separately ordered two successive upgrades,
and the first wasn't paid for. The result was that *neither* upgrade
was carried out for several months, until I discovered the languishing
orders and alerted the nephew, who then negotiated a reduced, paid-up
order.
