My's son's paternal side is 'littered' with all those Philadelphia Quaker ancestors who appear in any number of family trees that go back to pre-colonial Philly area. He is not only his father's son, he is also his first cousin, second cousin, and so on and so forth. He's even related to himself through these lines. His grandfather is also his first and second cousin and his uncle and probably some other obscure connection that I can't remember at the moment. His overlap can be found in three separate generations on his tree. Uncles marrying cousins, cousins marrying cousins, etc. etc. - of course at 'respectable' distances.
