Thanks for the information, Gary. There isn't too much information on R1b in Italy on the internet; and I have not figured out how to use Y-search yet, so I am especially pleased with your information. Thanks for sending it.

This value was not found 169 Iberian samples in ysearch and only found in 33 of 3,299 of non Iberians in ysearch. Since Ysearch samples are predominantly NW european this marker may be a good indication of a difference in Italian and Western euro R1b. This marker is also a relatively moderate mutator good for this type analysis.
