We have a parallel mutation in CDYa/b within the Ivey/Ivie/Ivys. We have
a second parallel mutation in 389-2 between two other family lines where
we know the specific ancestors of the participants.

Thanks Bob. Yes, I know of these pitfalls. As such, I not interested in
asking sponsors to pay for a 37-marker test just to get CDYa/b, which
may not be useful for grouping anyhow. If I could test just CDYa/b, plus
a few other basic markers for alignment purposes, I'd go down that path.
At the moment, I much suspect there are parallel mutations or multiple
mutations, which are confusing the results. Thanks,
Phil
