I think there must be some internal discussions going on (or needed) at
FTDNA, as I received a couple of notes from Max this morning in response to
questions I directed to him. He said that they would be changing YSearch back to the
step-wise model, and that a "point=step" on the "Interpreting Genetic
Distance" guidelines. I'm sending a CC of this message to Max, so hopefully we can get
everybody on the same page. I wasn't even aware that we were on different
pages, so this has been extremely useful, Georgia, and all your work on
illustrating the difference between Infinite Alleles and Step-Wise models will still be
educational.
