Those "fast" vs "slow" categories haven't been backed up by
explanations or data. You can't really ask for the details of what
they mean. It has been widely assumed that the multi-copy markers
were designated as "fast" on each copy, but FTDNA never actually said
so explicitly. The SMGF rates show DYS459a/b as distinctly slow.
Even FTDNATip shows them as slow, but that doesn't necessarily tie
into the old categories.
