Not dozens. A look at the chart says that a max of
about
10 will do it, starting from no knowledge at all, if
you do them sequentially.
It would be fewer if the first guess at the correct
first test was right (i.e. whether to test M9, P9, or
YAP first).
My guess is that for most people 3 or 4 will do it.
Of course this assumes that you are not a new
haplogroup.
